They are rare for 120's. I consider myself lucky to get one in Canada for $2000 cdn a few years ago. About $1500 U.S. but that was mainly because here people dont know Tokai and of course only Gibson is good enough.

I considered this one i won today even a deal. Its like a R8 without the nibs and more of a R9 neck usually.

The selling price on that LS120 is equivalent to over 700K Yen. It's a very nice LS120 but to put it into perspective, you can get a nice LS150 with the same OHSC right now for almost half that price.

Its not the speediest site at best (zenmarket). Thats one of the reasons i choose to sniper bid. At least the bid is in there waiting. My internet can go down and my bid will still get placed. Learned that the hard way lol. The ones that got away. I prefer to be outbid lol.

No one here in Germany will pay this price.
The guitar market is very, very slow these days here in Germany, actually complete Europe. For sure a really nice Les Paul, but everything over 2k is not moving…


Les Paul Standard 1600 bucks, not moving
Les Paul R8 3500, not moving for month.
Les Paul Classic, newer ons, 1400 not moving

There is one section where the flame ribbons flow down into the cavity. Would be nice to see more pics of the cavity though.

Still, that's mucho dinero. Love my 120, even though it has a veneer. Even with Throbaks, new wiring, and a KMS bridge, I'm still way under that price.
