"Glorious One" by Steve Fee

Playing it at church this weekend...cool song. You got to love a church song that builds up to a chorus, then has the silence before the chorus filled with a "Ka-Chunk" Bam-right into the heavy OD chorus. Sweet!

Porcupine Tree - In Absentia CD. Great fresh stuff with alot of variety and catchy guitar melody that I haven't heard anywhere else. I love the phrasing in the solos. I put it away when I've played it too much, but come back to it before too long.

Whoever mentioned Storyville first....Thank you! I just downloaded a butt-load of it on iTunes and love what I hear so far. The singer reminds me of Corey Glover (Living Colour) with a blues twist. Great stuff so far.

The first time I ever saw the Cult, they were opening for another big band (can't remember who it was), but that was the first band that I've ever seen open that blew me away. Saw them years later headline a smallish outdoor amphitheater and took my younger brother who had never heard of them. When the show was over, he said that he recognized about 75% of the songs. Great live band!! Billy Duffy rocks.

I was just introduced to peter green from one of dkirwans video's the other day, and I picked up an early fleetwodmac compialtion album. I have never even heard of him previously, but I am hooked. I also always listen to alot of GNR and aerosmith.
