Hello,
Looking for some guidance on verification for authenticity on this guitar? It is my dream guitar and it is selling semi locally at a fair price. I would appreciate if members could verify authenticity from just looking at the right things. I am no expert and this is a lot of money for me and I would like not to get scammed. Going through photos a few things that caught my attention: The "0" number on the serial is not perfect, the excess paint or glue under the nut towards the fretboard, the "treble" lettering on the pickup selector switch. It does come with COA and inspection paper but I mean I see people selling those on ebay so yeah. I am really shooting for this and I am no expert. These could very be factory defects within normality, seems
odd for such a high end guitar at least to me. Also, are there any other steps I can take to verify that serial number matches Gibson produced guitar. Thanks again.
