Well, if 157 is a large collection - gatherd since 1963 - I can assure you: they get played, all of them, taking turns with every rehearsal night and gigs. That what ye wanted to know?

yes, that's what I was curious about really,.
when I am recording there's like 4 or 5 electric guitars around ( I own only 2 but I always manage to borrow or hire when needed) ,a les paul style, strat, sometimes a tele style, a semi, sometimes a shredder...
there is a classical guitar and an acoustic steel strings also,
live it's only 2 electrics, main and back up and the classical which unfortunately at this moment hasn't got a back up../so I was just curious to know if large collections get played, which I can see they do and it's great they do, that's all,

My collection is small. I have a 2012 AVRI 64 Telecaster, 2014 Martin D18, 2018 Gibson Les Paul Tribute, and a 2019 Fender Ventera 50's Stratocaster in Sea Foam Green. Love them all but my favorite is my Martin!! :D

As a life long drummer, i figure im just getting started with this addiction. After being hoodwinked into guitar teching in 2015, I bought The Harmony from a friend. As you can see the disease has taken hold.
Back Row: Ibanez sgt110, Kawai/Teisco of some sort
2018 Epi ES 339, early 70s LP (Fujigen made I believe), CMI SG 212, 2002 Epi LP Standard, 65 Harmony Rocket
the dirty half dozen too.jpg

Not Pictured:
Cort acoustic, Sunn SL160 combo amp

'10 Ibanez Jem 505, '91 Ibanez RG-550, '96 50th Anniversary tele, MIM Strat with MIJ Charvel neck, then MIM Baja Tele, '78 Ibanez FA-100, Tokai HLS-LW, STR LS-648, '01 Ibanez Jem 7VWH. Looks like there is a partscaster strat next to the Charvel, but it doesn't get played. A few missing, my Emerald X-20 acoustic being the main one there.

This has my STR LS-549F, '81 Ibanez AS-200, and Emerald X-20 and as yet unboxed AX8

Fairly old pic below - of the 10 pictured guitars i only have 6 left, but don't feel sad for me, others have replaced them :D

Swapped the JJMM For a white (abused) Explorer.
Gave the green Yamaha to my daughter and got rid of the blue and red MIM's.

Acquired, a Ganson LP copy, a Hohner headless G2T, another MIM strat (flip flop) and the piece de resistance, a Steinberger GM4ta.

So the updated list is:
'91Steinberger GM4TA
'88 Steinberger GP4S
Hohner G2T
Fender MIM Strat x 2
'71Gibson LP Deluxe
'79 Gibson LPC
'09 Gibson Explorer
'89 Kramer Stagemaster Deluxe II
'90 Ibanez P540II
Ganson 70's LP copy
