Live at the Filmore is pretty f**king good as well, oh and Made In Japan, Song Remains the Same, BBC Sessions (Zep, Who) Oh and 'If You Want Blood' ...and countless others...I love live albums...always makes me wonder why these bands bother with all that studio shit.

The Who's "Live At Leeds" might be more "important" or something, but Cheap Trick "At Budokan" is the live album I have gotten more hours of enjoyment out of. Honorable mention to The Beatles Live at the Hollywood Bowl:

I feel that there is a ton of repetition in this thread. :thumb:

All of the classic live albums are phenominal, but come on, theres gotta be some less known ones out there you guys love! The OP could have made this a poll with 4-5 of the albums that have popped up numerous times at this point. Not knocking the albums or the musical taste, just wondering what else you have heard that you love. :D

I'm gonna go with Kiss Alive II.
It's probably not the greatest choice, and it's probably not all live, but it was my first concert.

Great production, and live versions that blow away the studio versions of every song!

Gong. Live etc...
not a gig but tracks from several live performances put together. actually flows pretty good.
great musicianship yet totally bonkers. features Steve Hillage on guitar.
not so much underated as completely under the radar. fantastic album by a truly cult band.
Misty in Roots. Live at the Counter Eurovision.
Britains best reggae band, live in Belgium 1977. heavy stuff. should've been massive.
don't know if it's available as an album but Steve Marriotts Packet of Three live in 1985 is a killer set of Small Faces, Humble Pie and blues numbers. check it out on youtube. stunning talent, guitar and vocals.

Wings rocked a heck of a lot harder live than in the studio.

Not so much a live album guy, but for now, it's TSRTS.I used to think that Jimmy just didn't use enough distortion. Now I think he used too much :D
