agreed. I've wanted an 'S' guitar for a long time (Alex Skolnick influence)...I just never got around to it. Always seemed to end up with a Strat, Les Paul, or Rhoads style V.

I like that 'S' stands for Saber,...and the LTD I like is called 'Arrow.'

..weapon names for 'Axes',..gotta dig it. :laugh2:

the Gretsch Cadillac Green Duo Jet was one of my "dream" guitars. a few years ago, I came across one for a great price and I had the funds. so, I bought it.

that looks exactly like a Squier CV50. A great guitar worth owning.

This one sounds amazing to say the hardware is a bits box selection from the 50's (the bridge is off a 59 jnr) to the 80's and the neck has been scarfed back on halfway along. Several people who have played this guitar say its a total 'dog'. Feels horrible, frets are nasty, neck is too fat. That and no serial number means there were no buyers when it came up for auction in 2015. IIRC it failed to sell despite the reserve being under 100k. If I'd had 100k .. !! The moment Arthur starts playing, you don't need any more provenance than that. Its clearly Koss to the core.

If money and availability did not enter into the equation, post a pic of your absolute dream guitar...
These are two instruments I never had and I'd love to have

:thumb: @LP121

yup my small list is: bsb Tele, Strat (with lacquer finish), Ibanez S, and a studio Les Paul w/ push-pulls as a backup to my killer LP w/ push-pulls.

I wanted the V but I think the Ibanez will scratch that itch for Floyd/Shred Machine. Don't need 2 shred machines. :dude: and I like that that Ibanez is mahogany body with a bound neck.
