Sry man, that is tough. People sometimes wait to long. It's called patient delay. We don't have to worry about the costs so much over here. But it's more that people are afraid of what it might be and just negotiate with themselves "mwah, it can't be that bad, I'l eat healthy for now and take it easy, then it might go away."
Medical personnel is the worst when it comes to that, they'll doctor themselves towards the not so bad diagnosis. Ofcourse they're usually wrong.
Ostrich politics one might call it.

But with shit like intestinal cancer for instance that's already a bitch to diagnose early, you're just too goddamn late then.

I'm so sorry to hear this That must be such a tough thing to go through, not only for her, but for yourself and the people around her. I hope she pulls through.

+1 on getting checked out if you think something is wrong too. Best safe than sorry. I'm not saying go to the docs the moment you get a headache or anything, just that if anything genuinely alarms you, and/or is persistent, get to the doctor.

Well she died this morning. Her daughter had to make the call to pull the plug. I hate it for her cause that just seems to make it worse for her. She and I dont always get along but thats still a hard thing for anybody to have to deal with. Thanks for everybodys concern. It means alot.
