Art is extremely personal. Parisians hated (and still hate) the Eiffel Tower, Shakespeare was entertainment for peasants. Perhaps she got more recognition and open doors because of John, but that doesn't mean she isn't an artist. I think John met her at one of her shows at a small gallery.

I guess fate stepped in, Yoko knocked on Paul's door first looking for money to fund her art, he said he couldn't but recommended someone who could help her. As a joke, he sent her to John, can you imagine the look on his face when he saw the two of them together in a serious relationship?

There is no doubt Paul took over the band, a strong individual does that, right or wrong, he / they were outgrowing Epstein. Lennon saw that as a conflict, his relationship with the Beatles was passive/aggressive. He tells Paul he was quitting them, then Paul beats him to the punch and announces he left.

Those two guys were identical to each other, both lost their mothers at an early age, both married divorce wives with children, they were limitless in any given musical direction, both were very keen on money, investments, both wives had come from wealthy families, the never ending soap opera continues.

No one here claims to be Brad Pitt. but when your one of the biggest Rock Stars in the world.........Yoko? really? If I were in a Asian massage parlor I wouldn't let her give me a hand Job. She is seriously that nasty.I look at that naked picture of them on that album cover and cringe. I can't look. John was seriously ill. He died just 10 yrs later. I have no doubts they would not be together today , and if Linda had lived I have no doubts they WOULD be. Its like John was always trying to piss someone off. This was his way of tattooing a giant Middle finger on his forehead.

Fact is while John was destroying his ego through increased hard drug use Paul assumed the drivers seat in the band.
John did seem to resent Paul's workman like attitude. Clearly Paul was the inspired member during the later years as Pepper, Magical Mystery tour and Get Back were all his ideas.
John only seemed to contribute when pushed by Paul but he covered his feelings on this years ago in Rolling Stone magazines Lennon remembers interview.
