Yngwie Malmsteen Fender 2005 (USA MODEL)

Hello, I am looking into purchasing this model (2nd hand, USA MADE), previously I had a chance to play (not buy) his 2014 model, what are the differences and which is generally considered better, what so you think about this guitar generally, the sller asks for 1700$, is the price any good? I have attached photos of the specific guitar, also, do you think the guitar is authentic or a fake, as Ive seen fakes around, thank you!

Edit: I see Fender introduced the bullet truss rod on this model in 2007.

So I talked to him and it is possible to ship it to me, I did some calculation and including taxes everything should be 1750-1800 usd, however the 2005 Ynwgie's offered to let it go for 1400 usd, I am just wondering about authenticity and year diffrences (2005 or 2016 at Reverb), what do you think? his guitar serial is SZ5053798, anyway to tell if it's legit and really USA made?
