Hi, all!

I know this is where the experts are. Wanted to ask if this is possible:

budget - $1000 - $1500 - am I crazy?
  1. Solid top - can happily be plain or black
  2. “standard“ specs - single binding, neck binding, etc. Not custom.
  3. Long neck tenon
  4. One piece back would be killer. Not more than 2

You talking new or used ??

You can get MIJ LP's with those specs in the lightly used dept from Japan or from sellers right here on MLP for that $$ all day long

Brand spanking new i'd think $1500 US is still a good chunk of change, i've been out of the buying new game for a long time though.

That Orville is crazy expensive...as most things I've seen on reverb.

I believe the only reason why it’s expensive on reverb is because the model has a long neck tenon and because the Orville models are technically “Gibson”. I always prefer Greco as they are more reasonable on reverb and have amazing quality (Higher end or left handed models always fetch a higher price tbh)

I do have a few 2-piece back plain top Grecos similar to this, but if you have up to $1500 US to spend I'd recommend looking at a newer Tokai LP. They have good specs.
You mentioned "neck binding" so I wonder if you are looking for something with fret edge binding.
If you are in the US @@o0mobius0o is probably the best person to contact as it is difficult to send stuff from Japan to the US these days.
