That's fair, but all things were not equal with PAFs.

That’s why it’s a craps shoot.

I’ve had 7.6 that was hotter than a 7.9

This new set I got worked as expected luckily.

Ya, you get something with thin wire and A2 or A3 magnets and it'll read high but be weak in output. Thick wire and A4 or A5 magnets, it'll read low and be real loud! ...and everything in between.

Unless we have a drawer of PAFs to try out with our guitars, buying PAFs is like a gamble. Luckily we are all crazy about this game so I guess we’ll be just fine.
