Yep, I wouldn't even worry about it. You can see here, I put the screws back in when I take the pick guard off, not a big deal.
What a great suggestion. I’ve never seen these. You could just do a 2015 guard and rings - the clicked together and no holes drilled in the guitar.

Gibson Screwless Pickguard and pickup rings 2015 Cream | Reverb
Gibson Les Paul pickguard from a 2015 Les Paul Standard. Uses tabs that fit into slots on pickup rings instead of screwing into your Les Paul if its one of the more recent models without a guard. Somewhat rare/hard to get, as Gibson doesn't sell them as an aftermarket accessory like their normal ...reverb.com

Possibly one year, or more but they didn't look particularly robust, being made of plastic. Tabs stuck to the guard and tucked under the rings would work just as well. Easy to do, and likely to withstand on and off a lot longer.Isn’t there a pickguard available that clips onto the pickup rings?
Yours has a freakishly nice top, I wouldn’t either goddamnI am going to go against what most people are saying on here and say leave it as it is. I would never think of adding it to my Slash. It is your guitar and do what you want, but you wanted to hear opinions and I am a big NO! Here is my Slash:

I did it anyway. Someone out there I’m sure would appreciate it. A collector probably wouldn’t, but I rather a player but it at a decent price
