It's tough to get motivated, especially this time of year. For me, a good protein shake and some Pantera gets me in the mood. :thumb:

The funny thing is I still eat my diet plan. I eat 4200 cals per day laid out with a 40-40-20 roughly bring my lunch box everywhere I go and I never go beyond 2hrs without eating.

I will admit that on Fridays I eat ice cream and pizza.

Not being a lard ass is my motivation, I have been in shape most of my life either through football, the Army and Marine Corps, my jobs in LE.

But now I kinda don't care......... I keep my weight at about 220 now, should really be at 180 but I am ok with it now.

The military makes me stay in shape. However when I workout on my own I do crossfit and if I can squeeze it in my schedule I will go to Brazillian Jiu Jitsu class.

Engl- the military is what is wrong with my body now, after almost 20 years of abuse, broken bones, other assorted injuries, and surgeries etc I am worn out and broken down.

As of right now I need my rotator cuff in right shoulder fixed, and before I am 50 I will need both knees repaired/replaced, not to mention my back is shot.

I'd recommend setting a goal that would take a good bit of effort to reach. Having a goal gives you the reason to continuously go while giving your mind the rationality it needs when it's telling you fu*k off when you wake up early. :)

Re enlisting and if I want the stripes they are offering, I need to pull off a miracle pft and combat fitness test
