Woman Alleges Former Anthrax Guitarist Dan Spitz Raped Her

A woman has come forward with allegations that former Anthrax guitarist Dan Spitz raped her when she was fifteen-years-old. Almost as chillingly, she claims that Paul Stanley from Kiss made a pass at her immediately thereafter. She has, however, also made it clear that “no other members of Anthrax were involved,” nor, to the best of her knowledge, were ever made aware of the incident. And in a post that seems to have since been deleted, she says she’s been in contact with Spitz’s fiancée since sharing her story.

Spitz has not released a comment at this time.

Although these accusations were made public on Facebook, MetalSucks is withholding the victim’s name until we can confirm that she’s okay with it being in the press.

Her account reads as follows:


“Jesus Christ. With all these sexual assault accusations going around by famous people..

“Maybe it’s my turn to call out DAN SPITZ formerly of Anthrax. When I was 15 years old, I was at a KISS concert in Edmonton Alberta. In between sets I was invited back stage. I was then ushered onto their tour bus..where Dan walked in wearing a robe and a towel on his head. He FORCED his penis down my throat. It happened so fast. He had my hair wrapped tightly around his fists so I couldn’t move. Not ONE WORD was ever said to me. I vomited on him…it was my way to get out of there. As I ran with tears streaming my face..i was approached by PAUL STANLEY who then touched my hair and said..wow you and me would make beautiful babies with lots of hair. He didn’t even mention my mascara or tears running down my face, or why I was upset. I went back into the crowd…AND TOLD NO ONE. TODAY..I TELL THE WORLD. #METOO“

If what she says is true, she did not only do herself but other potential victims a disservice by not saying anything right away. I dont blame her as she was only 15 and I get that at that age it seems easier to just shut up and forget about it but at the same time she chose to "expose" someone on social media rather than take legal action.

no proof, no evidence, just an accusation. how can people ostracized someone based on that? there will now always be uncertainty.

the thing about the internet is, anyone can say anything so for all we know she could be a sociopath that just wants attention. that may not be the case but we people shouldn't go mad like apes just based on what she said alone without confirming its true.

people have come up with elaborate fake rape stories before.

also, where were her parents? they should be held accountable for child endangerment for letting their 15 year old daughter go to a concert and backstage by herself if it's true.

When I was a teenager, I wasn't "respectible" to girls, because I was a "gentelman". It was because I knew how vile most girls/women can be.

Not that I wasn't inherently nice/polite, but when it came to "making a move", I always gravitated toward the girls that moved first. That way, if there was any anymosity, everyone knew who to point the finger at.

Try and tell a 15 year old girl what's good for her? She's smarter than you and wont listen.

Maybe she snuck out? Maybe her parents didn't even know she was at a concert? Who knows?

You know those countries where it's all, "Females need a male chaperone from the family"? ...this is partly why,..because bad sht happens to young women who think they know everything and get in over their head.

I honestly don't know what anyone can do anymore. Our society is all based around the individual, the individuals freedoms, and everyone doing whatever the fck they want to do whenever they want to do it. We also objectify and turn our "girls" into sex objects as fast as possible. We've got 10 year old girls running around wearing makeup and dressing like Hoe's these days. And no one will tell them not to because, "muh freedomz."

Add to that our education system sucks and parents (sort of) have their hands tied when it comes to raising/disciplining their own children,...and what we get is a society of bullsht.
