I like it both ways so I'll let you guys decide. Which looks better?

With?

Or without?

Def with. The color pops with the contrasting guard. You might want to try without pickup covers. Dbl cream or even zebra would look great too.

Take it off for now, but keep it. When the guitar gets some natural age on it, put it on. I like newer looking LPs without and vintage/older ones with.

Really...? Needs a Lifton case too, otherwise the tone will really suck.

LP's are easier to play with the Guard OFF for me.... my right pinky and ring finger

sort of rest on the wood

Aesthetically with or without doesn't really matter.. the LP looks good either way.

No other guitar on earth looks as good as an LP

Between the two pics the one with the guard on looks better.
If you went without the guard, it may look better with creme plastic instead of white. Would match better with the shade of the binding, toggle and knobs.

I prefer the look with the pickguard on, but I feel more confortable without IT

My advice, January-June ON. July-December OFF
