wiring explanation

sorry for my stupid question,but i had a problem with this it the past...
in the wiring diagram shown below,we see the pots from above or from below?

Hey Theo, In the diagram there you're looking at the bots through the back of the guitar, with the control cavity cover off.

I just rewired my 06 honeyburst epi with this diagram. I guess the easiest way to look at this (in the future) is that since the part that is actually turning isn't seen, it is from the bottom. As a side note, black is usually hot, while bare is ground and, in the case of SDs, green is the negative for the humbucker. Red and white are soldered together to daisey chain the single coils, and can be seperated for a coil tap or a spin a split. I was putting alnico pro iis into mine, what are you settin up with this diagram?

i will put used Duncan Designed ,bought very cheap just to experiment
