Personally, I won't be buying anything new from Gibson...and haven't for about 30 years...LOL.

My 2014 NGD will be a replica. :D

I thought the 2013 guitars were gorgeous, and look forward to seeing some 2014 models...but they won't be owned by me. ;)

If I buy one I will have no qualms admitting it. Why would I?

I think the 14ers are great guitars. Maybe next year I'll buy one... ;-)
The Melody Maker, the LPJ and the Classic seem to be great guitars!

Yeah, no reason to hide buying one--they are supposed to be great guitars..the -13s were excellent.

I'd rather get a 50s Junior, myself. :D

Nothing from the 'Core' models is creating much GAS to me

though

there might be some interesting 'Hit&Run' models coming out in 2014

:D

If I have the money I wouldn't mind a Futura or a LPJ.

When next year's blowout happens, I'll probably be the proud owner of one.

I wouldn't mind getting a 2014 Les Paul, even with nibs (or lack thereof) or the wired inlay.

I am really tempted to jump on a red Firebird, but the 12th fret logo has me looking at some Fenders instead

Sure, when my 2014 R9 shows up, I'll share pics.

I'd like a Futura and a Peace. I'm looking for a Peace much lighter than the ones I've seen so far. And maybe a Standard. Personally, I think there will be more models and more colors once the dust settles.

With all the talk of not liking this or that on the 2014, I haven't heard much over the Truss Rod Cover that says e-Tune on it. IMHO, that looks much worse than any of the new colors or the 12th fret inlay. It won't stop me from buying one though.

2014 will be a Fender year for me or quite possibly a 12 string RIC. But if I do buy a new Gibson, why wouldn't I fess up. Posted from Mylespaul.com App for Android

If I buy a 2014 Gibson it's going to be custom shop because just like last year Gibson USA is failing the 50s neck market pretty badly. I'm more likely going with a Gretsch or PRS this year though.

I see a root beer standard in my 2014 year and not ashamed to admit it.

Nothing in the 14 line-up excites me. I don't want anything to do with the e tuners! I think the pastel colors are limp wristed. I have no clue what demographic they are going after, certainly not the classic Les Paul buyer...

Most likely I will buy another Lester in 2014 but it will be a classic burst or Gold Top and most likely late 90s/early 00s...

first I have to pick up a Marshall JCM 800 w/ Cab!

I'd like a 2014 SG Standard or possibly an LP Classic.

But I got a CS Junior or LP Custom in mind.
