the following is edited as I made a closer look this AM:
I've got a Gibby Classic Antique with H-90 pups (like Splattle101 has) and while I was exploring the spaghetti like mess of wiring from the factory (I'm thinking about pulling out the treble bleed cap/resistor and doing the 50's wiring mod on the neck pup) I noticed that the hot leads from the pickups (main coil, as the H-90s are dual coils with a push/pull tone pot) are wired to the outer lug of the volume pot along with the switch wire and capacitor lead. All on the same lug ? The middle lug has been removed ! The third outer lug is grounded to the pot body...All 3 leads into one lug ? WTF?
See the mess ...
Really nothing to ask help on at this time, I'll just take it to my tech and have them rewire the entire cavity as a standard, 50s style LP. Really ticked at Gibson right now !
