Yeah. My Norlins suck. That's why I've been gigging with them for 10 solid years and haven't bought a Les Paul newer than '88 for years now.

Call it what you will. There are dogs in every era. More so nowadays because they put out 4000 of them a day.

I don`t like Goldtops for some odd reason. Not like is not a good term actually, I am indifferent to them. ;p But I tried a `74 relic`d Goldtop Beauty a month or so ago. FAST 60s neck profile. Gorgeous finish checking. Well played/loved. 3300 Canadian for it. Prolly worth every dollar. I just don`t see the hate for the Norlins. Can`t figure that 1 out. If it is still in the store by Summer next year, I might snap it up.

I haven't read through this thread but here's what I have to say on this topic.

Educate yourself on guitar history before you make comments like "Norlins suck" or "cheaply made guitars suck." You guys ever heard of Danelectro? And not all Norlins are bad. A lot of them are great guitars. I wouldn't mind owning one someday.
