Why no red customs?

Hey all
i really want a red les paul custom but just cant find one in cherry red like the es355 sort of colour cherry ,i see plenty in black ,white sunburst or wine but no cherry,is it possible to order one from the Gibson custom shop?

You will pay dearly and wait a very very long time for it to be done.

It is but it will be very, VERY expensive, refin would be much cheaper option.

nice,i like it ,yea just love it in red ,that has ebony fretboard ,yes perhaps second hand is the way to go.

As I seem to recall, there are a few LP Customs in a cherry type finish. Looking at 2nd hand guitars is the way to go. You'll have to do some looking around and be patient, but sooner or late one will turn up for you.

There is a Red Flame Slash Model called the Rosa Corsa or Corsa Rosa. Looks cool with Level 2 Flametop.

My local goto shop had a really nice 1993 red burst Custom (don't know what else to call it). It was distinctly red not wine. It was slightly translucent with an opaque burst border. I thought I would buy it eventually, but no such luck.
