Bottom line is if the COA has ANY value to you, don't lose it or don't buy a guitar that does not have it.
I agree with this statement but sadly, when dealing with Guitar Center specifically.......there is actually is a third scenario.
You buy a guitar from them, they assure you they will get you one (even had it written on my reciept) and then they can't deliver one.![]()

Yikes, but sorry, by me that's not a third scenario. A guitar either has a COA or not how you go about figuring out either scenario is a different thing.

Not if it's the right guitar, my R9 is a forever keeper so I really don't care that they lost it. The neck is perfect, the tone is amazing & cuts right through all the bands I have played with so far with no problem.
