Yeah I miss the Maestro very much, he took me all over the world performing.

He was a beautiful man.
Hmmmm... My father may have a recording with you on it.

For me, mainly I just wanted to Rock out. My big bro is a guitarist (though barely plays at all now), and i used to always watch him play.

All i want to do is rock out, nothing more, nothing less. I know i'm not a pro and probably never will be, but hell, i don't care, i just love playing!!! It's my own way of escaping and going into my own little world :D

WOW! That would be awesome!

One performance that I have been killing myself trying too find was the performance of George Crumb's "Star Child". That was a wild piece! There were 3 full orchestras, each with it's own conductor performing one piece of music, it was AMAZING! Oh yeah we performed it at Carnegie Hall, I was 11!

Another performance I'm tryng too find is when we performed with Bob Hope in China back in 1979. I remember when the show aired nationally it was great to see something you had taped months earlier on the other side of the world. Unfortunately my family was to poor to afford a VHS machine at that time to record the show.:(

Some of the other "youths" and I got together for a reunion a couple years back.

This crew was 9-10 years old when we went out on our first world tour!:laugh2:

I liked the way it sounded as a small child when my Dad played, and playing came naturally to me so I've been at ever since I got my first one at 11 months old (an old acoustic I banged on walls, jumped up and down on and broke). I've had a guitar since December 25th, 1972.

I started out of sheer boredom. I heard "Come as you are" one day and said "I bet I could play that." I could...it steamrolled from there.
