This reminds me of a crap idea which has been around since at least the 1990s. Put forth by an African-American Studies professor, it goes along with the claim, "black people can't be racist because they don't have the support of the power structure." Even if a black person believes all other races are inferior and should be eliminated, is not a racist, and cannot be a racist.

A few months ago, another black writer was on a talk show claiming that the woman who thought this up "changed the dictionary." I looked at 2-3 online dictionaries, and none of them had the same definition which has been used for decades or even centuries.

I remember seeing a post by a self-proclaimed "feminist" pushing this nonsense on Youtube. Her vapid reply to those who challenged her was, "The dictionary won't save you."

I’ve got a dictionary from 2001.
I’m not getting rid of it.
