I use a Marshall DSL5C through a closed extention cab with a 12” Greenback that sounds pretty nice.
Goes down to 1w.

Also have a Vox AC4TV that goes down to 1/4w.

My Epiphone Valve Jr. at 5w is as low as I can go. My Ibanez TSH15 is 15w but can be set at 5w ,but it sounds better at 15w

My Fender Greta uses a 12at7 as a power tube to put out a whopping 2 watts. Not much of a tone through the built-in 4 inch speaker but when I plug it into the 12 inch cabinet, it sounds great and it’s loud enough to make my kids cover their ears.

I changed out the stock speaker in mine, it’s actually quite usable now, even without an extension cab.
Freaking love my Greta!

I was this close to buying one of those TS combo units.
Super cool looking and great sounding little amps, I sometimes still regret not grabbing it, and may still end up with one yet.

I run my Greta into a 2x12 and it's really surprising how good and full it sounds.

for the posts joking about the Marshall Class 5? That amp is fucking LOUD!! No joke! I had one and couldn't believe how loud it was. I was like, "5 watts? har-dee-har-har,..let me just crank it u--" and now my ears are ringing.

I can't imagine using a 5 watt for band practice...are you mic'd going through the board?
If you like a dirty sound a 5 watt amp can really get kind of loud in a rehearsal situation. I've used it at 5 live as well like for the first set at a wedding. My amp can go 5,15, 30 or 45 and I rarely set above 15 live or at practice.

I know the feeling.
The first time I ran my 1 watt JVM through my 212 I damn near fell over, and my girl was banging on the floor from upstairs, freaking out that I was rattling stuff off the shelves.
No joke, 1 watt can be effing loud in a small space.

I still have my original Pignose 7-100 I bought 30+ years ago, 5 loud watts. My wife gave me a Fender Mini Deluxe for Christmas years ago, cool little 1 watt amp that's workable if you set it right.

My Vox DA5 has a low setting of .5w, but it can be bumped up to 1.5 or 5w.

Those are nice. Here's mine with a few friends. I got my DA5 from a member here. The Fender Champ 600 is also 5 watts. I also have a Vox AmPlug (AC30 version). I love them all.
