Very happy with my Klon KTR for humbucker'd guitars

Xotic EP boost is a cool alternative....

Thanks. Klones never did it for me with an LP. Having more satisfying results right now with the newly acquired Mooer Blues Crab.
If I get itchy for another the EP Boost is on my short list.

Where do you place it in your chain?
I go univibe into treble boost into 24v Hudson broadcast. I use a pedal switcher but it reacts like its first in the chain even with the vibe on

I did an A/B between the Boss SD-1 and the BD-2 (though it was a long time ago)
and being the owner of a SD-1 I didn't hear anything out of the BD-2 to make me wanna buy it. It was similar in many ways.
I find them SOOO different. the SD-1 pushes the mid frequency and cuts bass/treble. the BD-2 retains high's and lows while keeping the EQ flat. no mid push.

try hitting either a mid-scooped Blackface with either pedal, or an AC30 with plenty of mids already. both pedals will react completely differently to each other.

I was in a store and no, it wasn't set up in a Blackface Twin or an AC-30!
I appreciate your input and in light of it, my test might have been invalid.
