I wanna do a simple super strat setup with one humbucker tuned to D. I like old school metal tones like Sabbath, Motley, Wasp, Venom. So I got in the parts drawer a Duncan JB, Burstbucker 3, 498T, Railhammer Chisel and a Super Distortion.

Which to install?

Drop an EMG 85X in it....single volume .....no tone knob.....

Tighten the trem down tight, use modern steel saddles and put the heaviest brass block on it possible.......

With the right amp it'll sing and scream......

Sorry......I know its not what you asked.....

Good luck !!

Of those 1. Super Distortion 2. JB. If you want to coil split it, then reverse order of preference
