Anyone have any recommendations for brands of Buffing Compound? I bought the Stewmac Medium, Fine, Extra Fine but they basically broke apart when i was loading up the buffer wheel.

Thanks,

Id complain to them about it. Ive been using the stemac compounds and never had any issues like that at all. They work great. If yours fell apart they need to replace them...

I'll take the Arrows so line-em'-up: if they all broke I'm thinking user error... New Buffer, Big spinning wheels, bars shoved in, snap...

I apologise if I'm wrong.

Guess that depends on whethey they "fell apart" as the OP indicated, or snapped in half. If they all snapped in half id have to agree with you

Are you talking about buffing a guitar for the first time after being painted or one that has been around for a while and is fully assembled?

It was a guitar i just refinished. I did get enough compound on there to buff it and it look great. Compound block just seemed very dried out.
