I have one from the same year. To me, that's kind of how I would describe a AA top.I would say my 2009 Trad, is a AA top. If you turn her from side to side, the top gets more flamey, or less flamey, depending on the angle.

yeah I would personally classify this as AAA. I have only one AAAA 1960 reissue and that top is unreal.I see guitars with far less tops described as AAA. This one says AAA+ if not 4A, if we are going on this made-up marketing gimmick talk![]()
