Mmmmm! Right this very minute I took this bad boy out of the oven after a three hour slow cook :dude: It's a Ham Shank. They cost three quid each here in my neck o the woods  They make for the tastiest cooked ham. It will be going in a big batch of Ham & vegetable soup as soon as it's cooled down.

Hey all, I'm in the South Island of New Zealand. Just had an awesome 33 mile run, easy pace for most of it as I needed to make sure I didn't blow up and get home before 9am. Majority was pretty flat but still ended up being 1,165ft of elevation

Left the house at 3.30am, met up with a couple of my running buddies about 17 miles in and we headed down to the hills. I took a bit of a fall going down one of the descents but luckily nothing major

You can just make us out in that photo above if you look hard enough lol. Pretty epic morning all in all, especially seeing a couple of wild deer as we were coming out of the hills. I'm coming into the last 6 week training block for a 50km race I have towards the start of May, goal is around the 4hr mark

I fell outta bed today while watching a couple movies. Hurt my finger. It's uncanny how we are like brothers. :)

6 pm everyone is perfectly isolated in their homes scared of coming in contact with others. Makes it a great time to take a walk, loads of deers and rabbits came out on my run tonight.

I am 1 mile from the road up to 10,000ft.. Hard not to make them look close ...

edit..the larger mountains to the west are 35-40miles..smaller just few..
Sometimes I forget and take for granted things I should always remember..try to imprint the pictures of my life..
It all goes away to quick..

Focal length.
Phones are generally too wide-angle for anything more than 50ft away.
You need something in the 50mm to 120mm range, depending on your camera's sensor.

Wide shot is from my old Samsung S6
Tight shot is from my Nikon with a crop sensor and 250mm lens, from a bit further down the trail.
