We're on the south shore on Lake Ontario. In the pic you can juuuuust make out the Toronto skyline to my right....that's 32 miles across the lake.
Back to the rural settings west and northwest of Frederick, MD. Sure there are McMansion developments around every corner, but it is pretty cool how quickly you can get into truly rural and historic settings.

The swimming holes were packed, though. They had tow trucks out towing cars, they had them stacked so deep around anything that resembled a place to park.
