The Quint pic was actually a joke from a thread in the Norlin section. A poster had stated that Tommy Shaw was such an awesome Les Paul guitar player and should be as he invented the humbucker pickup... it’s why they call them Shaw Buckers....Lol
99% correct. The Quint pic was actually a joke from a thread in the Norlin section. A poster had stated that Tommy Shaw was such an awesome Les Paul guitar player and should be as he invented the humbucker pickup... it’s why they call them Shaw Buckers....Lol.....all kinds of wrong there
We all know Seth Lover invented the humbucker pickup and Tim Shaw later did his take of the pup. Tommy wasn’t even born yet in 1956.
I said you got that wrong dude it was Robert.... and started using the Quint pic as my avatar.
When I changed my avatar from the cupcake on a R8 to Robert Shaw... I get a lot of this “ are you angry bro? “ thing.... like my avatar is my personality..... yeah I’m fucking angry........Lol![]()
All this avatar talk, had to make a change.
You’re absolutely right amigo.99% correct.
Tommy was born in '53, but I doubt he knew what a humbucker was for another few years after it was invented![]()
What movie is that? I love Gene Hackman. Need to check it out.If I change mine, people get sorta irate.
They want me to be the kind of guy who throws Santa Claus up against a wall and accuse him of picking his feet in Pouhkeepsie.

Popeye Doyle and Inspector Callahan were sort of heroes of mine for obvious reasons....Guilty as charged.
Probably exactly what I'd do.
Well, Ryan is popping up when some post about assholes so...I think we finally did it.
The AI that lists "Similar Threads" has no clue WTF is going on here....

Thanks. That’s one of those movies that I always mean to watch and then forget about when I’m looking for something to watch. The French Connection
I have to agree with you.Dave, never under estimate the power of great avatars,Riv had them,Cab and his ULTRA MACHO Tele and cig,you have great avatars I remember the Martin Lan:
Names and avatars make a difference. I went with the blank canvas 80 Norlin it was a good choice. Means many things to many people, most dislike Norlins, their loss.
Truth be told, the movie doesn’t hold up that well. It’s just not that good. That’s as far as I ever got in that movie. I tried watching twice, gave up both times.
Maybe someday I’ll try again. I really like Gene Hackman, and I think he got an Oscar for that one.
