When people say Brazilian Rosewood Regarding Custom Shop Gibsons

There was a large run of Braz Historics in 2018

Also a few started coming out in 2017. Many/most of those have really nice dark strait grain, too.

Wouldn't you get more tone out of the Mahogany being old growth rather than the fretboard?

How do you quantify tone - can you give an example of greater tone vs lesser.......and it has to be a universal thing where its not your opinion too - because opinions tend to lead to contradictions.
Also maybe you can explain to us precisely why you think having old growth mahogany would be a direct contributor to this 'more tone' scenario in every guitar.
