$1700 is the most I've payed so far.

But I haven't bought a LP since early '03.

Is this a Bassman reissue ?? [off topic]

The most i've spent was U$2000 in my Gibson Classic

I have no price limit. I judge every guitar on an individual basis. If I play a Lester that really sets my hair on fire, I'll figure a way to buy it.

The limit :hmm: Well, I got a pretty decent job,
and as noted by others, you can find the money
if you want it bad enough

but I'm not a collector, and my skill level is very low, so
I wouldnt drop over 3,000 for an lp (starting today)

I paid $1500 for my mint '01 standard - but I sold my SG to do it so... I am embaressed to tell the "average joe" how much that guitar is worth but would drop $3k on a custom shop '58 if I had the cash!

Man love for sale! I have man love for sale!

I´d say 10K. But keep in mind that the street price of a new R9 in Germany is a little over 6K so all is relative. If I found one that really talked to me by coincidence - I´d make ends meet and get it. Regardless of the price.
Luckily it´s only a problem for me to consider if I really want to spend that much not if I can.
