I fell prey more than once to the road system in NJ. On my way to a concert at the Meadowlands (GnR, Aerosmith) I missed an exit, and ended up missing GnR...and I should've had plenty of time.

It's true though about the gas, you cannot pump your own...and it is cheaper than NY.

There are some really nice parts of NJ, I spent some time near Princeton, and it's beautiful there.

Though Newark has a reputation as the carjacking capitol of the world.

these things are all over NJ. And you don't have to go far...just hit up your local club (not the type that has live bands) or any school campus.
