it took almost a year to get mine confirmed............. I'd forgotten about it and one day the email just appeared.

I mostly read over there as the atmosphere is very stuffy and reeks of cork.

Been a member since 2005 - no problem with signing up. Different forum, different set of rules. Either play by the rules or pass.

Got some good info there when I bought my '69 LP. It is more academic than this place. There is still plenty of good info and knowledgeable folks over here, and a more laid back atmosphere.

I suppose that if/when I end up picking up a 50's GT that I'll pop back on there a little more. There is definitely more vintage knowledge there than here - but most of the time, I'm just wanting to shoot the shit.

There have been several threads about that forum. I really wanted to join it. I did the whole process, but never got the confirmation email. I emailed back and forth with the admin a couple times and he wrote me off. So I'm showing up as a member but can't post. I even tried again with another email and it didn't work. I got quite aggravated. That is probably the reason that MLP has so much more action.

AXE got banned from Metal Sludge. I'd love to know how that's even possible. :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2::shock:
