Probably bad camera lighting. I've held and played 4 of these . All where phenominal played great and had that gorgeous deep cherry finish .very special run IMO .

Maybe, but very doubtful. Two different angles of shots, and both have the red disappear towards the neck. Would be nice to see some more shots of it if possible, because like everyone says, a high end CS model just shouldn't end up that way. Need more info, lol.

All I have to say is, for $9K, they should be getting this stuff right. When you offer a premium product at a premium price, the product should replicate what it's supposed to replicate within reason. At least color the top right. And make sure the figuring is something worthy of a high end reproduction, and NOT something you'd see on a $900 studio flametop.
This is almost as bad as some of the Frehleybursts they put out last year that had very little flame on them. And this is not to take away from the really nice ones, but the bad they rolled out with them are... BAD.
