What's up with the search function here?

I go to look at my postings thru the search function here and there is a 4 year gap of information missing. WTF? From 2014-2018.

Where are the 4 years of posts?

The search function is basically worthless here.

Everything between the first update (where the likes disappeared) until the most recent update has been wiped.
At least that’s how it seems anyways.
Google will get you better results.

I've even found threads by simply typing in a phrase I remember someone posted in the thread

We have a search function? Why would I need that? Whenever something comes to me, I am sure that I am the first person to ever have such a thought and I immediately start a new thread.

You can type in the exact title of a thread and it won't find it. Do like TheX says and just use Google

We had to go to a new server, and once that was announced, MLP was down during the transition and back up well inside a day.

Not too bad, IMO.

So we may be having a few issues that still need ironing out, but to be honest the search feature here never did work as well as a simple google search.

Once again:

Go to google. Do this:

search terms site:mylespaul.com

Hit enter. See what you get.
