ALL of my amps,, Fenders, Marshalls, Dumble, etc, as my Axe goes through a Matrix power amp, that CAN put out 1000 watts, with both channels bridged or 650 watts per channel. Now, My Xitone 2x12 can't take that at full tilt, but it can handle the equivalent of a 120 watt tube amp.

@Merkin That Peavey looks very familiar! A few years ago, I found a Peavey Heritage VTX at a garage sale for $40. If figured "what the hell" and bought it. The manual says it's 130W with 2x12" speakers; serial number indicates that it was sold in 1982. It's insanely loud. The windows start rattling above 1.5 on the master volume. Other than being too loud, it has an awesome spring reverb with a very interesting phaser built-in.

I think the VTX was the later name for the Deuce.
And there were a couple of generations of the Mace/Deuce monsters. The earier models didn't have the phaser, and had the traditional Peavey aluminum knobs.
My Deuce was a '79 and had the plastic knobs and phaser.
I ended up selling it after it went into the shop a 2nd time for a problem with the solid state parts of the circuit.

Thing was a monster... and I built a 4x12 to stack under it. The '69 LeSabre could haul it around in the trunk.

Hiwatt CP103 clone. I have yet to play it unattenuated. Maybe one day...on a deserted island...or a British university cafeteria on a given Valentine’s Day...

I know! Mine is a 12-50 and it's the perfect match for the CR. Found it at a pawn shop with dust on the box so I offered a steal of a price and walked out happy. I won and they got rid of something that was taking up space.

Probably a 4103 - the 100W 2X12 version of a 2203 JCM 800. I think that's the loudest amp I've ever owned. Far louder than 100W SLP stacks. Those open back cabs are deafening and the upper mids of the 800 circuit make it seem louder than it is.

I think I've got a late 70's (1979, I think) Twin Reverb (those are the higher power 130W ones) coming in. That might give the 4103 a challenge for the championship, but it's not mine. I've half-seriously suggested running KT-88s in it (for a pedal steel rig) and pushing JBL D130s. That would be a clean-monster!

Well I own a couple loud amps, but my 73 Ampeg V4 takes the prize. Just brutally loud for guitar, but makes an incredible bass head that I pair with a JBL k140.

I also have a mid 80’s Hiwatt 100L, a Marshall JCM 800 2204, and a 68 Bassman head. i need to sell some and get smaller combos
