Yeah I like it too, but at that price it should have sold. Makes me wonder why it hasn't.

It's been listed at that price for all of 2 hours. I'll be surprised if it's not sold by the end of today.

Thanks! Looks are one thing (and I agree with you) but this guitar has the tone to match. They don't all have that. I bought and sold a bunch before settling on this one, three of which were 2013/2014's. The Custombuckers sound superb in this guitar.

The Custom Buckers in my 2013 R8 made me fall in love with it. I love Custom Buckers. I love the vintage look of your guitar. It's a near perfect color, and that subtle flame is gorgeous. You should be able to find a buyer in no time.

Thanks! I haven't 100% made up my mind to sell but I hope you're right. I wouldn't want to sell a great guitar and take my chances finding one comparable. I'd have to find the right R9 to make me give this one up. Or maybe I'll just live with the neck shape and leave well enough alone.

Market is getting better, especially if you are selling internationally.

Getting much better.

I don't know if its in your budget, but consider a historic makeover standard player package. Mine is there right now. Kim is GREAT to work with. The cost I believe was
$1700. You have to take all the hardware and pickups off. But you can get the right lacquer shape the neck to your liking and have it slightly aged. I know its money out of pocket, but to trade or the difference after you sell it will be around that anyhow. It is well worth it if you like the look already. Give Kim a call he is awesome. The other thing is, have you looked how long most guitars stay on members classifieds? My guitar happens to also be lemonburst and I love it, but there are a lot of them for sale. Plus you will probably get a lot of stupid offers. Good Luck, Brian

^^^ Thanks for the tip but I'd just assume sell my R8 and get a R9 for less than the extra $1700 for the makeover. I'm sure it would turn out great but that's not something I'm interested in doing. I generally like to keep my guitars stock or close to stock.

I think part of the issue is that lemonbursts are/were all the rage recently, and everyone and their mothers have them. I think of lemonbursts as I do any other . . some are great, some are not. But, I think everyone got one, and now it's hard to unload a lemonburst. But, I could just be talking out of my ass.

Whether or not they are/were all the rage, lemonburst is far and away my favorite color on a LP. I'd be looking for a R9 in the same color so it's good to know there's a lot for sale. I'd love to find a smoking deal on a lemonburst R9.
