While playing both my Epi & Gibson LPs today I thought of a dumb question-its not a Nashville bridge or ABR1 on an Epi is it just a generic bridge? Never thought of it before.

The LockTone locking parts have been standard for a while, but earlier non-locking bridges were just generically called "metric ABR".

They're all "ABR-style" bridges, just with different post hole sizing/spacing than the original ABR.

^ ABR is only the narrow bridge with a threaded rod. Nashville is the wider bridge with bushes and studs.

Both of these, as well as the Epi metric bridges are all versions of the tuneomatic (TOM) bridge
