Daniel, what kind of kit is that?
I'm probably wrong, but it looks a bit like a "M" kit.

It very well may be coming from the same place but I'm not sure...

It came to me in a weird way... I suspect shenanigans.

Daniel, you have some real talent at photography, btw.

Thanks... I'd hope so.

Doesn't hurt to have an $7000 camera body and pro glass to do your snap shots with either

Thanks, I've always kind of liked the way they flow with the the shape of the body. They aren't for everyone, but those who like them, really seem to.:dude:

Indian Rosewood classical getting French Polish:

And a Razorback inspired design for my son...I tried to convince him a Les Paul would be sweeter...but hey, he likes the agressive design. It's alder and wenge.

Stupid kids. Yes, I was... I bought this bass back when I was about 15 at a pawn shop. Guess that was about 23 years ago, how time flies... They weren't worth anything back then, I got it cheap. No case, just a bass. Left it leaning against a counter one day, walked away & hear a "pop"! You guessed it, it slid & fell to the ground. Broken headstock. I repaired it, but not so well. It broke again & has done little more than travel with me from home to home to home. Well, wouldn't you know it, at some point I get into building Archtops. In the back of my mind I know that someday that old Gibson EB-2 bass will get fixed & fixed the right way. 2 days ago I pull her out of the case, the one it should have had in the first place, & began the process. The neck is now removed. The new neck has been cut & is in glue as I speak. I am going to re use the fretboard, headstock inlay, truss rod & nut. She was originally Cherry. I haven't decided if I will go that route again, I'm leaning towards it. In any case she will be completely stripped & refinished...Better than new!

Can you please do a build thread for this one or at least point me in the direction of any progress pics you have? I would love to see the progress.

Thanks Doug...It's pretty much a "signature" part of my classical builds.
