Two original boxes with no markings?

One original box with non-standard knobs?

One Output knob maxed out?

Toes creeping up at the bottom of pic?

What is this madness?

Is somebody making a Klone in a sand cast chassis?

If so, I am interested.

I just stumbled on the webpage above. I have no idea what it means.

A rough Google translation indicates that it is actually a clone within a reproduction of the sand-cast chassis!!

A shootout? A klorgy? Who knows?
But any pedal that can fix my playing is mythical, indeed.

You should try the RYRA Klone. I'm really impressed with it! It was on the DOUG and Pat Show last month.

If it's done by Nik you can guarantee it's going to be top notch. He's got a great ear.

Also featured on "That Pedal Show" in a couple of episodes!

So more people are stealing Bill Finnegan's intellectual property for their own profit. Ick.

True, but - currently there is no way to buy a new one from him, and he is not sharing in the ridiculous prices being gotten for them used, so it's sort of an odd area. But I agree - his designs should be his. If I were him I'd contact people like Nik (who is a very nice reasonable guy and likely willing to chat) about getting a licensing fee for his design. So rather than ceasing their production he could share in the profits and everyone wins.

AFAIK, the only thing where the concept of IP is applicable regarding pedals today is circuit board layout. And we don't know what Nik's looks like (AFAIK, again).

Cloning the enclosure like that is pretty damn silly though.

Not entirely true.

If there is something on which Bill could make a strong case as far as IP goes is the enclosure design itself.
