Looking for opinions. I have 3 Les Paul type guitars, 2 Traditionals and a Studio with an ebony board.

Through a series of deals and trades, I have 4 sets of Humbuckers ready to drop in: OX4 low wind A4s/ OX4 Hot Duane A5/ Duncan Slash A2/ Duncan Distortion Ceramic.

Current pickups are Duncan Ants A2 in Trad 1, Stock Classic 57/+ in Trad 2 and Duncan Slash in Studio.

I also have an SG with Duncan Ants A5/A4 but I think those are staying.

So, what would you do? Just looking for subjective opinions.

I play mostly Southern and classic rock (Black Crowes to Led Zep) but like to bust out 80s metal (VH, Maiden) and 90s grunge (AIC) now and then. Amps are Marshall Vintage Modern and Fender Super Sonic 22.

Thanks!

I’d also experiment with different string sets.
Real nickel, nickel plated.
Whatever is the new “gotta try these!”

Hold on, if your current guitars still have pickups, then you really need four LPs that had their pickups removed.

Hang onto all the pickups. If you are like most of us you will be getting more guitars down the road anyway.

I have quite a few pickups sitting in my parts drawer!
