Original is very different in feel. The formulation of nylon is very noticeable.

I have both--I used the older ones for a while, before I knew the Page connection, but I must have bought the last two in town (that had been hanging around a while) as I never saw another for several years until the Dunlop ones came out.

The new ones are fine, but the older ones fell better.

Jazz III XL or a "Quarter Pick". I don't know the thickness.

What's the deal on the Quarter Pick? Kinda novel.

Im extremely happy with good old dunlop 1.14mm pink types which ive used for last 10 yrs, I cant hang onto a jazz III worth a damn and those mega thick stubbies and v picks, nah.......Ill take a pass.

What thickness pick are you using these days ?

I'm using the Dunlop Ultex Sharps in the 1.14 variety. Other than the "grip" leaving a little to be desired, I love the rigidity of these picks. It allows me to have more control of my pick attack.

Dunlop Tortex greens and blues (0.88 and 1mm). I'm a sweater, so I need that texture to keep hold of the things.

Another user of the Dunlop Gator 1.5mm.

Much prefer this as it's a little smaller in body size & has the chamfered edge.
Very comfortable for me.

I use these two almost exclusively.......the first is one that Chris from Gravity made to my specs. The second is a production model of his called a Punch.
Both 6mm.
Second pick with a reg size for comparison.

Typically a black Jazz III, sometimes a V Pick screamer, sometimes a Gravity Pick Razor . like the tone from both of those picks, but do not like the transients they add to the attack. The Jazz III is as close to the tone without the awful chirp.

I use 1.14mm tortex jazz picks. I used to use red jazz iii's but kept dropping them all of the time.

The best thing about the Gravity and V-Picks are that they cling to your fingers the longer you hold it - but without feeling sticky or with the rough feel of any of the 'grip surface' type picks. I've always had a problem holding picks - the Gravity/V-Picks solved that problem.

Page's fave: pre Dunlop Herco Flex 75. Dunlop reissue left, pick of destiny on right.

I use the Flex 50's and really like them.
