What sounds better than a Les Paul + OCD + Tweed?

One of my best guitar friends ( who played with Gregg Allman for 7+ years ) swears by his MK II C+. They are getting hard to find and pretty pricey these days. That would be one of my "if I won the Lottery" amps! LOL

I owned a 77 Mark I 60 watt no reverb with Altec. It was a great amp.

I don't much about tweed amps except most have 6v6 power tubes and thats about all

I don't mind the tweed amps.
It's the OCD I have a problem with.

The wee Gretsch is likely closer to a tweed, the Fender is more of a tweed covered EL84 Bassman with a 10" Greenback.
