Yeah, well now i've got another question, is the Custom, better than a traditional?

Sounds wise, i play slash's stuff, guns n roses, led zeppelin, muse, white stripes, placebo, strokes, anything really haha.

The Custom is more expensive, has more intricate binding on more surfaces. Some other cosmetic differences that add to the cost. But "better" I don't know. If you like the look of Customs more go for it but if all you want is a good LP you can't go wrong with a Trad. It's basically the guitar the pre-modernized LP Standard used to be.

Like the others said, go used. Find one you like. I prefer personal sales... where you buy off some guy who bought new and wants to sell to you cheap

For that amount you can get a nice LP and amp. Find something you like the sound of.
