Brandonwound are amazing. Great guy too. I've got his JP#1 set but I'm going to buy more from him. Great pricing too.
Jared left the company and works with Gibson now. I just found that out when inquiring about another set with vintage magnets.

I’ve not dealt withZach but he seems cool. I’m set with pickups pending some unobtanium pops up to give a try.

I got a stock Les Paul Studio from Gibson.

So I guess I got some 490R and 498T, and they sound stunning :)

EVH Frankenstein in the bridge, T-top from a '79 model in the neck. Custom '59 LP build from Precision Guitar Kits.

Custom label and design guitar, Breeze 17, SD Saturday Night Specials custom zebras. They sound amazing, if you're looking for the classic rock vibe.

1981 LP Custom 57classic/ 57classic plus
2013 CC Redeye BB3/CB potted
2014 Skinnerburst RI Bareknucke 'The Mule' Set potted
2014 Believerburst CB potted Set
2019 60th Ann. '59 LP CB/CB AlNiCo4 (changed Bridge-PU magnet) unpotted
2020 60th Ann. '60 LP CB/CB unpotted
My experience: Well adjusted(!) in distance to the strings AND adjustment of the PU-screws makes the Gibson PU to one of the best PUs on the market compared to other excellent PUs. Give them a try. Don't change them right away.
My 2 cents

My #1 has a Dimarzio SD in the bridge and a 36th Anniversary in the neck.
My #2 has 36th Anniversary in both.
I can say with zero shame at all that your tone has not suffered by these off-the-rack, completely opposite of boutique pickups. The one I have the SD and 36th in sounds incredible. The one with the Custom Shop Pearlies does too, but had I not already spent the money, I'd probably try a set of 36ths or a set of the new 59 PAFs.

I've been a DiMarzio hater for years, but I am absolutely stunned at how good my SD/36th set is. Like jaw on the floor. And I paid $80 for the pair of them, exactly a quarter what I paid for the Pearlies (which, to be fair, are slightly preferable for me, but not so much that I wouldn't have rather put a set of 36ths in that guitar and spent the rest on other gear). I'm not pulling them out and selling them now because I'd eat too much of the cost, but I likely wouldn't spend that much again. In fact, I pulled a set of Custom Shop Pearlies out of the guitar that has the DiMarzios now, and the DiMarzios sound better in that guitar than the Pearlies did. I sold that Pearly set here in the classifieds, and lost enough to have paid for the DiMarzios on the deal.

stock Custom Buckers in all my LP’s - absolutely see zero need to change them for anything else!

Seymour Duncan slash zebras. Took a lot of messing around to get them sounding decent, and honestly I’m pretty underwhelmed. Should have went with some 57’s
