On my '58 Reissue I have a set of OX4 "Jimmy Page" pickups while on the 2017 Les Paul Custom I kept the original T498 & R490 as they suit that guitar perfectly; these are the ones I tend to bring to every session, unless a Fender is specifically required, with the Custom being more "modern" sounding (Whitesnake-type) and the '58 being more vintage, I can basically cover all the bases, however I have to admit that sometimes I just stick to one of them and deliver whatever's needed anyway as they're both extremely versatile guitars.

Electric City Royal Tribute pups are in my Custom. Unfortunately, Bill hasn't built any pickups in a long time; I'd love to get a bridge pup for my G&L Legacy HB.

Those kloppman hb59 are SCREAMERS got some myself... so touch sensitive very tele on steroids ish. Love Em
Intriguing... I was considering a set of wizz pickups for that type of sound in my es 339.
I play led zeppelin and classic rock with it.
I noticed you also have wizz pickups, do you mind giving me your impressions on these sets?
Thanks

I'm currently rockin' the DiMarzio Air Norton/ ToneZone combo in double cream.

I love them. They compliment one another nicely, and provide a wide ranging palette of tones.

I've gone down the pickup rabbit hole, and come back full-circle to Gibson, DiMarzio, and SD as my go-to choices.

Works for me:thumb:

'92 StudioLite - OG 500T/496R would have switched for 498T/490R if guitar wasn't 100% original still and my first Les Paul
'05 Faded - SD SkinnerBurst (from before prices turned crazy) probably my favorite of all of them
'18 R9 - OG Custombuckers; not as great (to me) as SkinnerBursts or even T-Tops.
'73 Custom - OG Patent Sticker T-Tops
'11 DC Special - Wolfetone Mean/Meaner P90s - unreal
'08 Goldtop - the BB Pros from the '05 Faded

honorary mention: Epi ES-335 Inspired - SD '59s

Also have a pair of MJ's Magic (presumably SkinnerBurst clones) on standby... just in case.

Spent far too much money trying boutique PAF clones....... Don't enter the rabbit hole kid's!
But currently settled on ThroBak pup's in my guitars, MT102 in the R8, SLE101 Plus in the BB7 and the PG102's in the R7, the PG's may be getting swapped out however.
