OX4's in my R9
Bharat Khandekar (OTPG) pickups in both my Terry Morgan reps
1xP90 and one AlNiCo P-90 in my 1956 Custom

Couldn't fault a thing.

To my : "In my Custom: Original 1978 Patent Number and stamped date humbuckers. (Shaw?) "
You replied "Nope... sorry Bobby!"

Would you know what pickups are supposed to be in there?
I've read T-tops, Shaw's, whatever.

I don't wish them to be this or that in particular but I would like to know!
:)

I have pics somewhere. I'll post them if I get to.

My Les Paul has BCR GregWinds that I bought from Greg’s private stash. No idea what magnets are in them etc. and don’t care. They’re perfect for that guitar.

R9 - Tom Holmes Company
R7 - The infamous WB's, I believe they are model VTHP '67-07's, which where his vintage hot pafs with PE wire from '67
335- Wolftone Legends

On the bench another set of THC and Wizz that came out of the R9

Bareknuckle Mules I bought about 5 years ago, with nickel covers that have started to age and wear so suit a 30 year old guitar (even if it's a poly finished Epiphone that has barely a mark on it despite all the gigs :)

I think the rewiring job I did with metal braided wire and 500K CTS pots, plus 0.022uF bridge/0.015uF neck tone caps also helps with the overall sound too:

My 60s Tribute has the standard Gibson pickups and wiring as I've never felt a need to change anything as it sounds perfect. Same for my Junior:

when i got them they were $28, looks like theyre $45 now. ive put serveral different sets of fleor stuff in my budget builds and theyre great bang for the buck. sounds every bit as good as duncans or whatever.

details from amazon and link:
  • Magnet: Alnico 5 humbucker pickup, 6 non-adjustable slug pole pieces & 6 adjustable screws pole pieces.
  • Resistance: Neck pick is 7-8K, bridge pickup is 14-15K.
  • Fully wax potted and sealed to eliminate any unwanted feedback and noise.
  • Color: black. Come with screws and springs, easy to install.

You certainly like Seymour Duncan!
I personally use the Tonerider Rocksong set
Hello! I'm curious, don't you find them a little "narrowed" ?
I have them in a epi lp custom and they aren't very open...I like them when I play the guitar but when I play every gibson pus I have... I feel a great sensation of "opennes" and endorphines....
