Pick your pick...

I am not a one man pick... Have to adapt to what's available at any moment... Although I favor Heavy/1mm large pick.

Fender #347. I pick with the large rounded end not the small pointed end. Thicker and smoother tone to my ears. I bought a gross several years ago. Should last my life time.

:thumb: These are my go to as well, although I like the slightly heavier 1.14 version.

I'm with you fellas... I love the Ultex line... the tone from the material is most excellent and does not muffle the strings in any way. Love 'em. I can't play 'em though as the thinnest is .60 and its really firm with no give to it.

My fave modern current pick is the green .53 Snarling Dogs "Brain Pick". Closest thing to the Mel Bay green picks I can find!!!

I can't play unless I use these thin picks lol! I remember Ty Tabor (one of my fave guitarists) saying he couldn't play without these picks and I know what he means lol!

I'm intrigued by these. Seems like you'd get the best of both worlds between a thumb pick and a flat pick that way. I've tried using a thumb pick and it is a bit awkward as they are really only designed for downstrokes. I've been practicing more hybrid picking lately and that is a good compromise, but having the pick attached to the thumb might be even better.
